Quezon City to Silang, Cavite. Around 10:00 AM, we reached our first destination, the AA Living Gallery. Although this is our second visit to Arid and Aroids plant hub, the previous one was last June 2021. We’ve seen new structures in place and the landscape together with the premium plants have thrived so well as if they are part of natural forest within the walls of AA Living Gallery. The grand entrance door installation is something to look forward to, this is the entryway to the diverse plant species conceptualized by Arid and Aroids. Our group was given access to the laboratory where they managed the research of tissue cultures and all plant-related experimentation. Adjacent to the lab room, was another green house maintained by Arid and Aroids.

Our next stop was the flower garden and restaurant, Perlas ng Silang, recently launched in the last second week of May. A promising attraction for garden dining and nature lovers. Art installation of women figures, vintage car, and giant animal shape installations naturally adorned with colorful flowers. Our final stop, is one of the progressive nursery in Silang, Cavite,

Dhoei’s Garden. Owned by Engr. Dhoei, we were awed by his simplicity and practicalities in life. And yet has a high esteem and passion towards his growing business. His innovative garden is a product of “sipag” and his ideas. Engr. Dhoei is also a foodie, like us, he loves to cook using local ingredients abundant in Cavite.
