Safety Information

Children growing up in this tech savvy age practically knows anything what’s in and about in the internet. Initially these kids are given access to connect to websites from which their curiousity jumps to a higher level in wanting to know more. For older kids or the young adults this kind of situation is expected from them, however parents are concerned with the little ones as young as five years old. We literally allowed them to connect, play endlessly with gadgets that we parents need to apply strict parental control over excessive usage and unverified websites that are not safe for kids.
photo email-for-kids-kidsemail.org-parenting.gif In case your wondering how grade school to middle school children connect with one another, aside from being together in school on a daily basis, they do have these social media accounts from which I believe parents should be in control and knows whatever is going on around the kid’s cyber world of activities. One amazing site I reviewed last year was about Safe Email for Kids by KidsEmail.org, it’s a safe email service for kids and teens while allowing parents to monitor any correspondence their children send and receive. The service provides the following settings both for parents and kids:

  • Safety settings
  • Mail monitoring
  • Time restrictions
  • Mail queue
  • Block senders
  • Manage contacts
  • GPS tracker
  • Modify look
  • Child account settings
  • Activity logs

Filipinos love to smile on and off the camera lens (even at vanity mirrors), the self-centered obsession took social media by storm. Third-world country like the Philippines (lower class and upper class) find means to own a gadget that enable to take photos of their enigmatic self as means expression and validation of self-confidence. We’re so proud of bringing home Time magazine’s recent award to the Philippines as the selfie capital of the world, probably the ultimate testament to how Filipinos love sharing their selfies on social media, and Proactiv recognizes the importance of confidence to people as they share their photos.
