World Fair Trade Organization – ASIA Updates: Shop for the Holidays

 

WFTO ASIA will hold a Fair Trade Open House, a small gathering of Fair Trade Organization. To be held at JGH Building, Quezon City on December 10, 2011 Saturday, from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.

In time for the holiday season, a chance for us consumers to divert gift-giving ideas to unique and ethically-sourced products and items.

World Fair Trade Organization ASIA is the Regional Office of World Fair Trade Organization, a group comprising of Fair Trade organization in five (5) regions committed to the eradication of poverty by enabling and empowering small producers to improve their livelihood through trade that is just and fair to everyone.
 
Fair Trade Open House project is to purposely target consumers to have an alternative choices apart from purchasing the common gift choices they do most of the time. With the participation of Fair Trade organization, buyers who would like to avail from the open house have the access to ethically-sourced, sustainably-produced and socially-empowering gifts. Holiday gift suggestions include paper products from Nepal, personal care products from India, accessories from Yunan, China, crafts and food items from the Philippines, a lot more.
 
Entrance is FREE at the Fair Trade Open House
