Nestled within the 1 hectare plot of land in the hills of Antipolo – the Silangan Garden where Pinto Museum stood still, together with its in-house restaurant & cafe – Laya Personal Dining and Earth Cafe. An artist’s haven of creativity. The place took almost 2 years to plan, construct & organize the project.  Pinto opened its doors to the public last December 5, 2010.

Silangan Garden is the home of the Silangan Foundation for Arts, Culture & Ecology – a non-stock, non-profit foundation spearheaded by Dr. Joven Cuanang, a neurologist and art patron. The museum houses the major paintings of some of the country’s contemporary visual artists, together with Cuanang’s impressive and inspiring art collection from the 1990’s.

The museum’s exterior was Mediterranean-inspired. Antipolo based-artist Tony Leaño created the architectural landscape, whilst preserving the existing natural terrain. The visible wide open porches, facades & columns, natural canopies & foliage, impression, backdrop & the soothing ambiance demonstrate an undeniably artistic passion.
