Anyway, since I’m registered at Digital Influencers Marketing Summit 2012, let’s make the most out of it.
The seminar started out with the announcement of Top 10 Emerging Influential Blogs for 2012 winners:

The seminar proper started with Gary Viray (Search Opt Media) shared a talk on “Hitting Page 1: How Influencers and Brand Advocates are Shaping Search Engine Results”. Tackling the real deal with SEO. He was joined by Tof Salcedo in the panel discussion.
Viray’s deck pinned some beliefs that yes an SEO can leverage a site with ranking and online popularity. It’s not all about ranking your set of keywords. But behind all the marketing tactics and SEO application, a client will only care about a specific target — ROI (Return Of Investments), Conversion, and Real Value. How to tap and reached success? Just like Viray’s closing address “SEO is not a sorcery.” It takes time (website maturity), efforts (relevant content, niche, marketing strategy) and a some patience (analytics and methodology).
Tof Salcedo emphasize on the extensive approach to Google+. Although I have a number of Google Plus accounts. I am not as active in posting every nitty gritty details from my blogs and campaigns. But I know for a fact that Google Plus will emerge in the long run and somehow effects of SEO methods can be analyze on clearer visions. Yes Google+, authorship, human citations, social signals and among other Google branch are reliable sources and useful platform for every web users.
Atty. JJ Disini had a timely talk and answered questions on “Cybercrime and Data Privacy Laws: What Every Digital Influencer Needs to Know”. Just when Cybercrime Law will about to take effect October 3. I had some video clips of his discussion, click here to view YouTube: deiville. And get to know better the controversy (selection sections and articles) and danger that lies from the Cybercrime Law.
Influencer’s Pitch Session
Chairman Jo Mitra of PhilHybrid.com kicked off the influencer pitch session with his brief and clever talk on the “Internet is Real Life”. He cited a good example of how an internet dictates the consumers buying decision. That as web practitioners/bloggers/advocates/marketers hands out an idea online and publicly published. Where in most cases, majority of the youth uses the technology and adapts to the marketing trend online (research), therefore they are the number one consumer next to their parents/elders (whom these youth have a greater chance to influence the older folks when making decisions).
Jhoey Hernandez of PinoyOrganics.com pitched in her advocacy in teaching Filipinos the value of staying healthy by consuming organic food. She challenged the audience to stay healthy after 10 years and attend the future Digital Influencers Marketing Summit.
Song Medina-Babijes of Booklatin Philippines (http://facebook.com/booklatin.ph) give a short talk about its advocacy of selling e-books authored by new Filipino writers.
Mannix Pabalan of GrantonWorld PH pitched in his company’s milestone and its upcoming plans.
Rosario Juan tackles about “Brand Love: Building Relationship with Influencers and Brand Advocates”. With Elisa Escobar of Azalea Residences Baguio joining the panel. Juan focuses on the classic marketing approach (word of mouth, good product and consumer targets) and at the same time adopts to the new trends digital marketing (virality, type of advocates and community activities).
Maita Siquijor a successful real estate broker shared her digital transformation in the real estate industry as “The Influencer Transformation”. She was joined by Vanj Padilla, a journalist turned social media campaigner. Siquijor markets through a touch of a button, she single handedly managed to grow her online presence with the use of different media strategy and internet’s tools.
Congratulations Ms. Janette Toral and the guys behind Digital Influencers Marketing Summit 2012, good job webbies! =)
